It is always said that true beauty resides inside you. This beauty is nothing but the self image or rather the confidence that a person has. But, apart from being confident and having a great self image, there are certain things that you can do to look prettier. Read on to find out what you can do to look pretty.

Smile - First and foremost thing to remember is that always have a smile on your face. It doesn’t hurt to smile, try it now! But there is one little thing you must be concerned about. This smile must be genuine and not fake because real smile makes you look beautiful instantly,

Skin - Next thing which makes you look beautiful is your skin. Protecting the skin is of utmost importance as the sun rays can harm your skin. Always protect your skin from sun damage by applying some kind of good quality moisturizer. But before you go about applying any kind of moisturizer, please remember to have a look at the SPF rating of the product. The SPF or the Sun Protection Factor tells you how long you may stay in the sun without being harmed by the UV rays.

Make Up - Apply make up but do not go overboard as it is sure to look faux or unnatural. Learn to apply the make up in such a way that it looks natural. For example, you can use blush to enhance your cheek but don't blush them so much that you start to look like some kind of a clown.

Hair - Next in the list is your hair. Care for your hair all the time by getting regular hair-cuts and using shampoos and conditioner that is appropriate only for your hair type. Don't go using any generic kind of a shampoo or hair care product. Always use products that would benefit your hair.

Clothes - Now, that you are done with the care of your skin and care, it is the turn of your clothes. Choose the right clothes for the occasion and be sure that they fit you well. Please do not wear clothes that are too loose (baggy) or that are too short or too long. Also, make sure that the shoes/ sandals that you are wearing are in good condition and do not have scuffmarks in them. Footwear with scuffmarks would look real ugly.

Water - Your skin would benefit from water. So, make it a point to drink atleast 8 glasses of water a day. Your body needs water to function properly and your skin will benefit from it as well. Not only this, drinking water will make you feel good from inside and you will surely look prettier.

Exercise - Getting exercise is the key to a healthy
body and skin. If you exercise regularly, your skin would glow and you would look prettier. Exercise also helps in relieving stress and tension from the body and mind. Contrary to what you might think, it is not really necessary to get plenty of exercise. A 30 minute workout each day is more than enough to keep you fit and healthy. You will start feeling the difference in no time at all.

Posture - Your posture or the way you sit or stand can make a difference in the way you look! You might think that it is unimportant, but believe us, it sure is true. Standing straight and in a proper way makes you look like you respect yourself and often people would follow your lead. It also has a wonderful visual effect of soothing out any kind of bulges that you might have on the wrong places on your body. Hence, always remember that posture is very important and can go a long way in making you look much more attractive and prettier than you already are.

Attitude - Always remember that although you might be looking absolutely gorgeous on the outside, but a bad attitude towards others can make you seem real ugly inside. In turn, this will make people stop paying any kind of attention to who you are on the outside.

Get enough sleep. This will help you to always look your best. Regular sleeping patterns help your body to effectively regenerate and feel great the next day! Avoid sleeping on your face, this will cause wrinkles.
